Thank you for holding town halls this week to keep your constituents informed about your efforts to push back on this corrupt presidential administration. I’ve found them to be informative and encouraging. I urge you to keep defending Congress' constitutional authority over federal spending and oppose attempts by the executive branch to usurp the power of the purse. The decision to withhold Congressionally approved aid undermines the system of checks and balances and sets a dangerous precedent of executive overreach. As a co-equal branch of government, it is critical that Congress asserts its rightful role in allocating funds and oversees how taxpayer dollars are disbursed. Thank you! * * *
