Remove Sections 708 and 709 of S. 4638 the National Defense Authorization Act

I am a constituent in 86005. And I am a lesbian and a proud member of the LGBTQIA community - and that includes my trans brothers and sisters. We are in for an exceedingly awful next four years in which our lives will be at stake. I am angry to learn that anti-LGBTQ extremists in Congress are attempting to include bans on health care for transgender servicemembers and their families in the annual defense bill. These citizens are willing to pur their lives on the line for our nation, including these bigoted members of Congress. I am strongly opposed to these provisions and urge the Senator to ensure that these dangerous and discriminatory restrictions—specifically Sections 708 and 709 of S. 4638—are removed from the final, negotiated version of the National Defense Authorization Act.
