Revoke Presidential Immunity — No One Is Above the Law
To the Justices of the United States Supreme Court,
I am a concerned American citizen writing to urge you to immediately reconsider and revoke the dangerous and unprecedented ruling on presidential immunity. This decision has already undermined public trust in the rule of law, and it opens the door to unchecked abuses of power with no recourse for accountability.
The case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia — a legal U.S. resident from Maryland who was unlawfully deported despite a Supreme Court order mandating his return — proves that the Trump administration is openly defying the authority of this Court. That is not governance. That is lawlessness.
By shielding a former president from prosecution for crimes committed while in office, the Court has enabled a dangerous precedent that invites tyranny. No individual, including the President, should be above the law. The Constitution was written to prevent exactly this kind of authoritarian rule — not to enable it.
The immunity ruling flies in the face of everything our democracy stands for. Presidents are not kings. They are public servants, answerable to the Constitution and the people.
If this Court fails to act, it signals to every future president that the law does not apply to them — that corruption, abuse of power, and even violence can be committed without consequence. That is not justice. That is the death of accountability.
I respectfully ask this Court to reverse course. Uphold the rule of law. Restore faith in our institutions. Revoke the presidential immunity ruling before it irreparably harms the nation and the Constitution you swore to protect.
GIVE US OUR COUNTRY BACK.
