APPROVE PAY INCREASE TO FEDERAL EMPLOYEES. WE ARE PUBLIC SERVANTS AND WE DESERVE A LIVABLE WAGE. Only 27% of Americans trust the federal government, but a record 65% say most civil servants are competent. The Partnership for Public Service's national survev also found 61% sav most civil servants are committed to helping people like them, up from 56%, with the gains driven largely by Republicans and independents. Trust in civil servants did slip to 44%, and it still beats trust in the government by 17 points.
