As a concerned and vigilant Florida voter, I am writing to express my outrage over the unethical behavior of Judge Ed Artow, who has reportedly been making decisions that appear politically motivated—specifically, favoring Donald Trump in an apparent ploy to secure a nomination. This kind of covert deal-making and betrayal of judicial impartiality is not just unethical—it’s a flagrant violation of the public trust.
Florida’s judicial system must remain above political games. When judges are swayed not by law, but by personal ambition or partisan loyalties, our democracy suffers. Judge Artow’s actions are disgraceful, and they insult every citizen who expects justice to be blind—not a tool for political self-promotion.
Even more disturbing is the role of Senator Rick Scott in this unethical theater. Rather than condemning this behavior, he seems to be playing right along—either enabling it directly or turning a willfully blind eye to it. Florida politics have become a showcase for the worst kind of power-grabbing, and Senator Scott’s silence speaks volumes. If he isn’t complicit, then he is at least complicit through inaction.
We, the people of Florida, are tired of the corruption. We are tired of politicians who treat our courts and institutions like stepping stones for personal gain. We will not sit back while the judiciary is co-opted by those who serve their party before their people.
This is a call for accountability. Judge Artow must be investigated for any ethical violations or undue influence in his rulings. Senator Rick Scott must answer for his role in fostering or condoning this dangerous politicization of the courts. And every official in Florida—whether judicial, legislative, or executive—should understand: we are watching, we are organizing, and we will vote.
Enough is enough.
