As your constituent, I'm writing to demand that you support and pass the Women's Health Protection Act (HR 3755/S 1975) right now. Given the attack on women's reproductive rights from Texas, the Supreme Court's failure to act, and the impending dearth of additional such state laws, this country is in dire need of swift and permanent action from Congress before women everywhere are negatively impacted by these ridiculous policies. I am certain you know why this legislation matters. And why you must act quickly. So I don't explain in detail. But I will insist that women's health rights need to be codified into law rather than left to the unpredictable and biased whims of state lawmakers and the Supreme Court. Our rights cannot be left to chance in this matter. I understand this will not be an easy task. But you know as well as I do that the vast majority of Americans support women's health choice. And that failure to enact these federal laws defies the will of the people and puts women in danger. So let's make it happen. Now. And if it means destroying the filibuster along the way...all the better. Let's fore America and the world that this Democratic Congress gets the important work done.
