As your constituent, I am writing to express my deep disappointment that Sen. Alsobrooks chose to vote for the GENIUS act. This bill makes it more likely, not less, that crypto entrepreneurs will hurt Marylanders’ pocketbooks and our broader economy. It’s hard to imagine voting for this bill for any other reason that to placate crypto lobbyists or donors. Sen. Alsobrooks, I’m surprised and saddened that you didn’t represent your constituents in this decision. Thank you for your time.
