Good morning. Between AI, biased news media, and blatant lies from every corner of the Trump administration, it can be very difficult these days to determine the validity of a claim. That does not mean that we allow misinformation to flourish- especially not from the top down, and especially not when the subject matter affects our gold star families. Pete Hegseth made statements yesterday alluding to the families of fallen U.S. soldiers as having told their children to go over there (to Iran) and finish the job. However, one of those parents states that never happened. What an egregious lie to tell! I realize that in light of the full scope of lies he has told, this is neither surprising nor unexpected, but it’s still insulting to these families, these service members, and these United States of America. Stand up to the Trump administration. Their lies harm real victims. Real people. American people. Demand the truth- in this and all things. Now.
