Stop Trump’s Crony Appointments They Are Destroying Our Government Donald Trump’s recent appointment of Paolo Zampolli—a former modeling agent who once claimed to have “discovered” Melania Trump—to a diplomatic government position is an insult to every qualified public servant in this country. Zampolli’s background isn’t in diplomacy, national security, or global affairs—it’s in high-end modeling and private business. So why is he now representing the U.S. government? Let’s be honest: these appointments are not about qualifications. They are about loyalty, silence, and transactional protection. This is not public service—it’s organized patronage. And it’s dangerous. While Trump and his allies rage about supposed “DEI hires,” they’re stacking the government with unvetted friends, cronies, and individuals connected to deeply troubling networks. Zampolli’s name is not new in elite circles, and his proximity to Melania and the Trumps is no coincidence. This reeks of payback, not patriotism. This administration is gutting American institutions and turning our government into a personal protection racket. These aren’t just bad optics—they’re a national security risk and a threat to public trust. I urge you to: • Investigate political appointments made without merit-based justification. • Hold public hearings on potential ethical violations and cronyism. • Demand transparency and vetting for all diplomatic and high-level government roles. If Trump and his circle want to run a modeling agency, let them do it in private. But stop allowing him to turn our government into one. Do your part to defend democracy, transparency, and qualified leadership.
