Watching the Super Bowl pregame ceremony last night when they sang, God bless America and our national anthem it brought tears to my eyes. Unlike previous years, when my heart swelled with pride, I was overcome by incredible sadness thinking of how much we have lost in 12 short months of MAGA madness, and how the American dream has been betrayed. I come from a family of patriots and Warriors. For uncle served in the second world war. Six cousins served in combat in Vietnam. My brother served on an aircraft carrier in the Mediterranean. I flew 250 combat missions on SEA. I can assure you, we weren’t there fighting for a wannabe dictator and his boot licking representatives. Your cowardice, corruption, and incompetence have betrayed all of us. Perhaps God will forgive you, but I never will.
