Stop the shutdown NOW. Republican cruelty must end.
To: Justices Court
From: A constituent in Miami, FL
November 6
I am outraged that this government shutdown — now the longest in U.S. history — continues while millions of Americans suffer. President Trump has done nothing to ease the harm, ignored court orders meant to protect people in need, and continues to misuse his office by blaming Democrats for his own failures. This is unacceptable.
No president should use hunger, lost paychecks, and fear as political weapons. Congress must act now to reopen the government, restore essential programs like SNAP, and hold this administration accountable for any ethics or legal violations.
The American people have made it clear through recent elections: we reject this chaos and cruelty. We demand competent, compassionate leadership — not partisan games at the expense of our livelihoods and democracy.
