Vote no on scheduling 7-hydroxymitragynine

To: Rep. Abrams, Sen. Blessing, Gov. DeWine

From: A constituent in Cincinnati, OH

March 29

Dear representatives, I am reaching out about HB8000. I understand the fear of an opioid like substance being available to the public. However this substance doesn't get people "high" nor does it pose a risk of overdose like other real opioids. I ask that you don't support a scheduling of this substance as it has the potential to help so many people. It HAS helped so many people. Getting pain medication has so many hoops to jump through and can be taken away from people with one wrong move. Having something like 7-hydroxymitragynine to fall back on can be a life saver. The good outweighs the bad on this substance. Thanks for taking the time to hear me out. I hope you have a great rest of your day. Thanks.
