$40 trillion is a pretty big number. Up from $35 trillion since the Orange Menace moved into the White House. That number is estimated to increase $1 trillion each five months going forward. All this from an idiot that promised he was gonna balance the federal deficit. Each one of you knows how much you contributed to this fiasco. The one Big Beautiful Bill extending the federal income tax tax cuts and literally hundreds of thousands of special interest tax breaks only makes the problem exponentially worse. As you are certainly aware, interest payments are now the largest part of the Federal Budget. And the total debt exceeds GDP. Neither one of those are a good thing. America has one of the lowest tax rates in the developed world. We could certainly reverse this problem by increasing federal income tax by just a couple percent in the top brackets, and tightening up the many loopholes I just referred to. You all know that Trump is batshit crazy. But, you have no such defense. Cowardice, corruption, and incompetence, keep your head wedged firmly where the sun don’t shine. No one really expects you to do your duty and solve any of these problems. Any normal human being would be ashamed of themselves. But not you.
