Reading Jennifer Rubin's Q&A in the Post today has inspired me to write to you. She suggested that we all "encourage your senators to be as aggressive as possible. For example, Democrats’ recent deal to hold off on four circuit-court nominations raises concerns about Democrats’ tendency to make unnecessary concessions." Wherefore I do encourage you to be as aggressive as possible and not to make unnecessary concessions. It would be one thing if these were sane and normal people, but they aren't. They are nuts, and they don't have a clue about compromise. If you budge an inch they perceive this as weakness, not as an invitation to budge an inch as well. Please resist with all your strength, and if a Trumpster says it's a nice day, bring your umbrella. Much love and Happy Thanksgiving.
