Investigate DOJ Withholding of FBI Reports on Trump Sexual Assault Accuser

To: Rep. Maloy, Sen. Lee, Sen. Curtis

October 21

Investigate why the Department of Justice appears to have withheld more than fifty pages of FBI interview reports about a witness who accused President Trump of sexually assaulting her as a minor. Rep. Robert Garcia reviewed unredacted evidence at the DOJ and confirmed that three FBI 302 reports and notes from three interviews are missing from the public release. The index prepared for Ghislaine Maxwell's trial lists fifteen documents tied to this witness. The DOJ released only six. The gap in Bates numbers alone, from EFTA000577I5 to EFTA00057769, points to at least fifty omitted pages. The FBI exists to serve the American people, not to protect the powerful from accountability. A survivor came forward four times, and the public record of those conversations has been stripped to one report. Demand a full investigation into what was withheld and why. Silence on this is not an option I will accept from any elected official.
