Why are we at war with Iran still? Our military is humbled. Our reputation is in tatters. Iran’s leaders are more firmly entrenched. Iran still has nuclear capacity The straight of Hormuz is a mess and under Iran’s control. And now gas prices are going up again. It was so much better before Trump tore up the Iran Nuclear Deal (JCPOA). That was the best deal we've ever had with Iran and we held a very strong position under that deal. Now we are stuck with this needless, illegal war that Trump started, solely to stroke his own ego. Solely so he could say he had accomplished something no one else could. Well, this has turned into an absolute disaster and we are stuck with no good way out. What i do think is that continuing to bomb Iran changes nothing at this point, except further depleted our munitions and continue to spend billions in taxpayer dollars, without our input or consent. Congress, you have enabled Trump to get us into this mess when you ceded your responsibility to uphold the Constitution and to represent the interests of your constituents. Your voters are clear, we do not want this war. The Constitution is clear, only Congress has the power to declare war.
