I am writing as one of your constituents to urge you to press for transparency regarding Senator Mitch McConnell’s condition and status. Given the importance of his role in Congress, the American people deserve clear, factual information about whether he is able to carry out the duties of his office. Before the upcoming August 3 date, I believe Congress should prioritize providing verifiable confirmation that Senator McConnell is alive and capable of serving. This is not about partisanship—it is about accountability and maintaining public trust in our democratic institutions. When elected officials hold positions that can affect legislation, confirmations, and the balance of power, the public has a legitimate interest in knowing whether those officials are able to fulfill their constitutional responsibilities. Uncertainty only fuels speculation and undermines confidence in government. I respectfully ask you to advocate for transparency and appropriate verification so that constituents can have confidence in the integrity of our representation.
