Please take a stand against the President’s casual racism.

I am writing today, not just as a constituent and Idahoan, but as someone who has known you for almost 30 years. I am begging for the Governor of the Great State of Idaho to reject the blatant racism that was on display in President Trumps official Truth Social account today. The meme he posted depicting the Obama’s as apes shows moral decay. It tells the world that we are being led by a racist who is staffed by a team of racists.
This isn’t an Idaho value. This doesn’t reflect what Idahoans want from our leadership. Please, speak out. Use your position to reassure Idahoans that our state officials condemn racism and the cancer that it creates in our society. Please support Idahoans of every ethnic background by taking a stand and calling out this hate and bigotry. Please don’t let silence equal complicity.
