Vote NO on SAVE Act (HR 22) - Protect Women's Right to Vote

To: Rep. Smith, Sen. Booker, Sen. Kim

From: A verified voter in Forked River, NJ

April 5

The Save Act (HR 22) is voter suppression. Vote NO, please. The burden of documentation required and the in-person registration requirement will disproportionately disenfranchise women, Americans abroad, including those in the armed services, and those who’ve never had a reason to get a passport. This is unjust. The Save Act does nothing to safeguard our elections. It is a mischievous stunt to have this bill in play, ginning up specious fears. As you know, election fraud is vanishingly rare. It would be a vile disservice to your constituents who sent you to Congress to vote for a bill that will prevent some of those who voted for you from voting again. I am counting on you to vote NO on HR 22 and to support the John Lewis Voting Rights Act when it is reintroduced.
