VOTE NO FOR BILL HR 1526

To: Sen. Warner, Sen. Kaine, Rep. Vindman

From: A constituent in Manassas, VA

April 17

I urge you to vote NO on H.R. 1526. This bill dangerously undermines the balance of power by restricting federal courts from issuing nationwide injunctions — a critical tool in checking unconstitutional or unlawful actions by the executive branch. Limiting the judiciary’s authority like this paves the way for unchecked power, threatens our democracy, and violates the principle of separation of powers. Courts must retain the ability to provide full and effective relief when rights are being violated, no matter where people live. Stripping this power under the guise of “judicial restraint” is not reform — it’s a step toward authoritarianism. Please protect the integrity of our democracy. Vote no on H.R. 1526. Please
