Last night I understand the state house passed a bill to ban trans college students from using the bathroom that matches their gender expression. This piece of legislation is another tactic the far right is using against Americans. Trans person's account for less than 1% of the population and while they commit far fewer crimes than the general population we are waisting time and energy to pass legislation that makes their existence a crime. I am demanding that you veto this legislation to send a message to MAGA American. I need you to stand WITH your fellow Ohioans and declare that you will protect us from the dangerous rhetoric that MAGA and project 2025 spews. Governors from all over the country and standing up against Trump and his MAGA minions. This could be your opportunity to do what is right and to send the message that Ohio welcomes all people, that we are a safe and progressive state. Don't let your term end because you stood by while hate and division tear us apart.
