Please protect California's clean energy future and oppose SB 540 Pathways. Despite what is happening federally, we here in California are doing our best to fight climate change and move to clean energy. If California joins this multi state group we will lose our ability to chart our own course. We may be forced by this alliance to go backwards and use coal, one of the dirtiest fuels around. It has also been shown that utility customers generally see theirs rates go up rather than down after joining a regional agency. I believe in people and organizations working together generally speaking but I am strongly against California ceding our ability to make climate-friendly decisions. Please do everything in your power to oppose and block SB 540.
