Trump's ICE and immigration practices aren't about immigration. It is clear from the violence and terrorizing coming from ICE on a daily basis that Trump's policies are an assertion of a fascist police state. No one, including your loved ones, can consider them safe under such rule. Yesterday's horrific murder by ICE of a young woman should have every person in our country horrified. This isn't a partisan issue. This is about the safety of every single person living in our country. A woman who was simply driving her car and WAS NOT A THREAT OR A DOMESTIC TERRORIST (despite what Noem and Trump say in their lies) was murdered in broad daylight. She leaves behind 3 children, one of whom is now an orphan. Of course, Noem and Trump immediately, before seeing any videos, proof, or facts, blamed the woman. Their gaslighting hit a new level yesterday. But facts matter. And we have the facts and proof in front of us with countless videos and witness statements. And no amount of Trump's lies or gaslighting will change the reality of what happened - that a woman was unjustly murdered by an ICE agent. The American people will not stand for an administration that uses force, violence, and intimidation to terrorize us into submission. Yesterday's murder wasn't the first time ICE agents have used bullets against us. And because Trump, the DOJ, and Noem won't ever acknowledge truth, it won't be the last time. Senators, I have yet to hear your reaction, but for the sake of all that his holy and good, you had better not be repeating Trump's lies. It is past time to stop enabling Trump and the rest of his corrupt administration from destroying our country, our economy, and terrorizing and killing our people. Congress MUST PROVIDE OVERSIGHT ON TRUMP'S IMMIGRATION POLICIES. Noem must go. ICE must be stopped. Today they are out again in full force in Minneapolis and elsewhere, because they have been given permission to continue their terrorizing by Trump and all of Trump's sycophants. Senators, please don't fall victim to Trump's alternate reality. Please let this be the situation that makes you stand up, honor your oaths to the Constitution, and do your jobs of protecting the people in our country. Don't you dare gaslight us. Your small number of MAGA cultists might believe you, but the majority of Americans will not. A woman died at the hands of ICE. Do something, Senators. This is not a partisan issue. We are way past partisan issues here. Please provide the oversight you are supposed to of Trump's homeland security policies. No one else should needlessly die because of Trump's thugs.
