As a Louisiana Republican, I say this unequivocally: it is time to stop lying and start leading. When Democrats were in control, they negotiated. Your refusal to do the same is not the act of statesmen, but rather toddlers. You continue to hurt the livelihood of your constituents and your countrymen over some misguided desire to satisfy the President, who cares nothing for anything save what gives him power and cash. You have failed your state. Save it.
