As a Floridian voter, I'm appalled at the unconstitutional policies currently on the table. I expect my representatives to act in accordance with current laws and the constitution. It is absolutely unacceptable to be writing admittedly unconstitutional laws with the idea 'the Supreme Court might change its mind soon' as Gov. Desantis seems to think it is. As elected agents of the people of Florida I demand you put a stop to this lawlessness immediately. Automatic death penalty for immigrants accused of a capital offense is unconstitutional as well as inhumane. This tactic clearly leaves the door open for unjust racial profiling. We have come to far as a state and a nation to be championing measures that will harken us back to public lynchings. This can not stand.
