I write to you with a heavy heart following the murder of Alex Pretti, a VA nurse, by ICE on the streets of Minneapolis. Congress must unify around an agenda to DEFUND AND DISMANTLE ICE IMMEDIATELY. You already voted against the DHS appropriations bill last week, which unfortunately passed the House anyway. Here are the additional steps we the people are asking for NOW: 1. Repeal the multi-year $75 billion funding for ICE. 2. End qualified immunity for ICE agents. 3. Investigate and prosecute every single ICE agent who broke the law. 4. Impeach Noem and Bondi. 5. End the Kavanaugh stops with racial profiling and end the militarization of ICE. 6. Codify a use of force standard so courts can enforce the law against rogue ICE agents.
