I implore you, do not vote to confirm Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be the next secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. Despite his family pedigree, Robert is not qualified to oversee such a critical function of the federal government. His anti-vaccine views are at best, woefully misinformed and at worst, a threat to the health of our population. An example of Mr. Kennedy's unsuitability was his role in discouraging measles vaccinations in Samoa, exacerbating the outbreak. Such irresponsible sentiments can slow, if not block, a timely response to threatening pandemics such as H5N1 (i.e. bird flu). Again I ask, please do not vote to confirm Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
