I see your statements and responses to emails, which say in part, “On February 28, 2026, U.S. forces launched "Operation Epic Fury" against the Iranian regime. These strikes resulted in the death of multiple top Iranian officials, including Iranian Dictator Ali Khamenei. In the weeks leading up to these strikes, the people of Iran staged large-scale protests against their oppressive government, which were met with violence and suppression. It is time for the people of Iran to stand up and take back their country. For decades, the Iranian regime has chanted “death to America,” while funding terrorists around the globe, including terrorists who have placed improvised explosive devices (IEDs) that have killed and maimed countless American servicemembers. I want to see peace, but we can’t have peace if we allow Iran to continue to support terrorism and pursue nuclear weapons, which they were quickly rebuilding, that threaten Americans and our allies. Operation Epic Fury is a decisive action to protect our service members, our homeland, and our national security. Yes, the president briefed some members of congress, has it occurred to you he has NOT briefed with clarity the rest of us Americans. Therefore, my questions remain and you did NOT answer them. They are 1. What exactly is the mission? Nuclear weapons destruction (we did that last year – ask your president), ballistic missile destruction (why didn’t we do that last year if it was so important), regime change (yes, your president said he expects to pick the new leader), unconditional surrender (really – what exactly is that), total defeat (throwaway words yet spoken by the administration). It’s word salad every day without a formal declaration of what we are doing. 2. I’ll add – what we ARE doing is getting Americans KILLED – and committing war crimes by bombing civilian targets and killing children. What say you on that? 3. Trump says the war ‘is very complete’, ‘a tremendous success’ and yet Hegseth says ‘this is just beginning’. 4. Again, what is the mission? 5. When we will know the mission has been accomplished? 6. What is the exit strategy? Russia and North Korea have done most if not all of the things you list as the reason for attacking Iran. Are those countries next? Your reply was NOT an answer – try again and stop using bs word salad. I will keep reminding you how horrible you are at this job. Had you ever served this country you might think with a bit more clarity.
