According to reports, Trump is asking that the Senate take up again a version of the original SAVE ACT. As a woman who has taken her husband's name (making my last name not match my birth certificate) and someone who works with elections and know how important voting is to so many, I am horrified at what this type of voter-ID bill would do to millions of patriotic Americans who simply want to vote. Making it egregiously hard for citizens to vote is what banana republics do. I ask you to NOT support the SAVE ACT or the SAVE ACT PLUS if they are re-introduced. It would hurt too many.
