I'm writing to urge the Senator to act to stop the weaponization of the Department of Justice, which is being used by the President to seek revenge on anyone who opposes him. The latest in the long list of these revenge actions is the arrest of journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort for doing their jobs. This is a clear violation of the 1st Amendment and is being done not just to attack them but to scare other journalists so they will think twice before reporting on anything that might displease the President. I'm calling on the Senator, first, to denounce these arrests; second, to demand the resignation of Pam Bondi; and finally, to rein in the DOJ using the Senate's power of oversight and legislation. You and your colleagues in the Senate can stop this evil clown show. Do it!
