I am writing again to express my opposition for further ICE funding. ICE is putting the American public at risk and is not being held accountable. The way it conducts itself goes against American values. The Bill of Rights was created so that the American public could stand up against an unjust government. We have seen ICE get in the way of our rights as citizens of the United States too many times. When the Senate votes on the DHS Appropriations Bill, please keep this in mind and vote NO. Our immigration system needs to be fixed. America needs to become safer. The first step toward both of those aims is to defund ICE.
