I am writing to ask Congresswoman DeLauro to vote against Republican provisions in the house budget bill that will harm Americans such as cut to Medicaid and SNAP while extending Trump’s tax cuts to the wealthy. I hope that I can count on her support on this issue. I think it would be amazing if the house Democrats would post a clear fact, based list of Republican proposals that will be harmful so that we Americans can see what they are trying to do to us. A clear list of the benefits of Medicaid and all they cover and why it is necessary for the government to provide that money and services would also be very powerful and persuasive. I would also like to thank Congresswoman DeLauro for consistently standing up to for every day Americans. I was particularly proud to have her represent me when she passed the child tax credit and that made a huge difference in my life. I hope that you will continue your fight and know that you are supported by your constituents
