Protect reproductive healthcare in Indiana and oppose SB 245

I strongly oppose the criminalization of abortion-inducing drugs like Mifepristone and Misoprostol as proposed in SB 245. This bill is an egregious attack on reproductive rights and healthcare access in Indiana. Classifying these medications as Schedule IV controlled substances is an unnecessary overreach that will only serve to restrict safe abortion care options. Women should have the freedom to make their own reproductive choices in consultation with their doctors, without undue government interference. Criminalizing the distribution of essential abortion medications shows a dangerous disregard for women's bodily autonomy and wellbeing. I urge you to reject this harmful legislation and focus instead on protecting and expanding access to comprehensive reproductive healthcare for all Hoosiers.
