You swore to uphold the constitution and work for the people. What will it take for you to impeach? Impeachment is not a partisan issue. The constitution is not a partisan issue. The rule of law is not a partisan issue. You seem to think that betraying our allies and doing shakedowns on Volodomyr Zelenskyy is something okay to condone. And it's okay to spare Russia alone from tariffs. Russia - a known dictatorship that attacked a smaller country while the world was still reeling from the pandemic. Our biggest trading partner has declared our partnership and relationship will never be the same, with Canadians online swearing off US travel and products and saying they will never forgive. And what did it gain us? Only devastation - thousands of people have been laid off and MILLIONS MIGHT LOSE THEIR BUISNESSES due to the new MASSIVE distrust of America and the tarrifs. President Trump’s remarks on Canadian and Greenland’s sovereignty have humiliated and isolated us on the global stage. Remember when 77 million of us elected Trump to do something about grocery prices because inflation has caused 60% of Americans to live paycheck to paycheck, barely avoiding homelessness? Well: he just made them worse on purpose to strongarm our own allies and countries with whom we have had beneficial relationships, until now. All against the advice of professional economists! Millions of already food insecure Americans ARE ABOUT TO FACE STARVATION AS A IMMINENT POSSIBILITY. MILLIONS MORE WILL BECOME FOOD INSECURE, and people are going to have to ration medication - do you remember how people are already rationing insulin? Now this statistic will extend to most lifesaving drugs as people lose the ability to afford medication that keeps them well and alive. Every moment you wait, lives are in active danger of being ruined or taken by preventable deaths. And yet, with millions of lives and livelihoods and our country’s standing in the world of diplomacy and economics on the line, you have allowed Congress's power of appropriations, over tariffs, over the Federal Agencies it appropriated for to be entirely usurped. As for basic American principles? Apparently ICE will deny anyone due process of law for arbitrary reasons. And anyone can be deported to a prison in El Salvador. Where will this end? Trump policies at home and abroad's abroad have already caused deaths. How many more laws, rights, alliances, amendments and lives must be destroyed before you will uphold the constitution and remove an administration who is destroying it? How many more scientists and historians across the world have to scream “Wait! This is risking human lives!” and “Stop! We’ve seen this before in Russia and in Germany - it ends in death and the destruction of democracy!” Please reply to explain your unconscionable delay, telling me what new and graver contravention will prompt you to act.
