We Are in Grave Danger—Our Government Is Enabling a Russian Asset Donald Trump just stood at the G7 summit and defended Vladimir Putin—a war criminal responsible for the mass murder of Ukrainians and the destabilization of democracies worldwide. He claimed Russia never should’ve been expelled from the G8 and insisted the war in Ukraine wouldn’t have happened if Russia had been allowed to stay. Let’s be clear: Russia was kicked out for illegally annexing Crimea. Trump’s comments are not just ignorant—they’re propaganda straight out of the Kremlin. Even more disturbing? This isn’t an isolated incident—it’s coordinated. Just days before this outrageous speech, Marco Rubio, Trump’s Secretary of State, issued a glowing State Department statement celebrating “Russia Day,” saying the U.S. wants “constructive engagement” with the Russian Federation. Constructive engagement with a regime actively bombing civilians, kidnapping children, and threatening NATO? What universe are we living in? This administration is systematically dismantling our global alliances, eroding trust with our democratic partners, and legitimizing autocratic regimes. Trump has praised Putin more than any American ally. He talks trash about Canada, Ukraine, NATO, our intelligence community, and even Gold Star families—but not Putin. Not once. That is not coincidence. That is loyalty. Donald Trump is compromised. He has been for decades. The financial ties to Russian oligarchs are well-documented. The interference in our elections is not a theory—it’s a fact. And now the consequences are playing out on the global stage, with America on the verge of being isolated, NATO at risk, and Ukraine left vulnerable. I am demanding the following from Congress: • Open an immediate investigation into Trump’s financial entanglements with Russia and potential violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act. • Hold emergency hearings to address the national security implications of a compromised president undermining U.S. alliances. • Condemn the State Department’s disgraceful Russia Day message and prohibit official recognitions that legitimize hostile governments. • Pass legislation barring anyone under indictment or who has engaged in insurrection or foreign collusion from holding federal office. • Reaffirm our support for Ukraine, NATO, and the principles of democracy that are under attack. Every day this continues, our country becomes weaker and our enemies grow stronger. The American people see what’s happening, and we refuse to normalize it. If you care about national security, if you care about the Constitution, if you care about America’s standing in the world—you must act now. History is watching. So are we.
