Bad Deal on Shutdown

To: Sen. Kaine, Sen. Warner, Rep. Scott

From: A verified voter in Norfolk, VA

November 10, 2025

I’m very disappointed that Senator Kaine is supporting the current deal to end the government shutdown. This leaves 24 million Americans’ healthcare in limbo with “bad-faith” republicans. The democrats just won huge on elections and this deal leaves us toothless and feckless. If this deal passes we give up all the leverage we will ever get leaves us weaker going into the midterms. Please don’t “roll over” and continue the fight!
