All members of a president’s administration, including the president and all cabinet members, are required to pass background checks. I urge you not to let the new administration try to bypass these background checks. Our national security is too important. You took an oath to protect our country from all enemies, foreign and domestic. Anyone who tries to bypass background checks is up to no good. Honor your oath of office and hold this incoming administration to the same standards you have held all past administrations.
