Hello, Senator. I am writing this to you while I do a breathing treatment with a nebulizer. Since I first contracted Covid in August 2023, I have struggled to breathe every time I get sick with any other respiratory infection. Two viruses in March compounded by bad air quality days and spring allergies sent me to the urgent care once again for the third chest x-ray (not pneumonia) and 2nd EKG of my Long Covid life. Today RFK, who you voted to confirm, announced in Utah that he thinks we should take fluoride out of public water. Every respectable dentist and oral health expert disagrees. A Canadian town tried this with distrastous results for its children a few years ago—they reversed course. Unfortunately Utah has already decided it wants to careen off this cliff. So where are you? We need state leaders and the governor is not about to do it. Own your vote for RFK, take responsibility for the nonsense he came here to spout, and speak out in public now!!! He is wrong!!! The state lege is wrong!!! They are hurting your constituents! STOP LETTING THEM!!! And while you’re at it, please demand he restore research on Long Covid. I’d like real scientists to figure out how to help me recover from this.
