An Open Letter

To: Sen. Chapman

From: A constituent in Sequim, WA

July 24

I am contacting you to express my concerns over censorship. Legal art and entertainment is being forced out of existence by companies like Mastercard and Visa. These companies are effectively creating their own legislation through their policies. This does damage primarily to independent artists and the LGBTQIA community. We have a legal right to create and access art which is being directly attacked by these companies. Please support the Federal Trade Commission in their stand against technological censorship to protect the First Amendment.
