Daily reminder that Congress's job is to provide checks and balances to the executive branch. Congressional Republicans: DO YOUR JOBS. Trump is out of control because the Republicans in Congress allow him to be. I don't believe for one second that either of you Republican senators believes Trump is fit to run our country, nor do I believe that you truly support the things Trump does and says. But you are cowards. Senators, you weren't elected to be cowards. Do your jobs. Rein Trump in.
