I write to ask you to formally admonish Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and consider his removal from his position. His actions show him to be biased toward women, and toward people of color, In our military. He is not promoting based on merit, as much as he is hindering those two groups of people from advancement. I believe that he is also responsible for desiring to rename the USS aircraft carrier slated to be named after Doris Miller, which is a blatant discriminatory move. These behaviors are not conducive to creating a strong, intelligent, and well-rounded military. Additionally, it is politically repugnant to consider naming a military vessel, or any monument, to an acting President.
