President Trump has wiped out the bipartisan Election Assistance Commission, stretching the power offered to him by the Trump vs. Slaughter decision from firing those who disagree with him (already a terrible precedent for a democratic government) to simply shutting down an agency created by Congress. We demand answers about the EAC firings. We demand to know who will be running election infrastructure. One-sided oversight is not oversight, and one man deciding everything without question is not democracy. The assault on checks and balances that help keep our government from veering into extremism needs to be stopped!
