Congratulations on your hard-fought reelection. Many in the progressive community here in Frederick supported you both through the primary and in the general because we believe you will use your position to fight for what your constituents want and will be a thoughtful leader for our community. I am urging you to reject Hakeem Jeffries for Speaker and to support a new leader who truly reflects working-class American values. Someone committed to ending the war in Iran, halting data center proliferation, fighting for universal healthcare, demanding accountability for corruption, refunding our government agencies, pursuing real diplomacy with our shunned allies, and so much more. Hakeem Jeffries is not the leader we need on the back of this historic win. No more business as usual. We want real change, and that starts with House leadership. The Frederick County activist community is robust and organized. We are eagerly watching to ensure that our votes for you weren't in vain.
