As a tax paying US citizen I urge you to start an investigation into the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool renovation. Please call for the Government Accountability Office (GAO)/Inspector General to testify before Congress, under oath, to account for how these contracts were awarded. Reports indicate the president gave a no-bid contract which grew by roughly $13 million. The President has no right to give no bid contracts unless it is a matter of national security, or for a few other narrow reasons. This situation clearly did not meet the legal standard, meaning Trump acted illegally, in yet another blatant disregard for our country's laws. This project was supposed to cost only $1.3 Million, has now ballooned to well over $16 million to fleece the American people as another example of Trump’s corruption! He is treating the American taxpayers' contributions like his own personal account. I can not think of a bigger disrespect to the American public, when so many are struggling to afford basic necessities. You must investigate this abuse of taxpayer money! We hold you and all of the Republican dominated Congress members to account for this wasteful abuse!
