Washington DC deserves statehood and independence. It’s absurd that they have had taxation WITHOUT representation despite the values on which our country was founded. We are seeing the dangers of allowing the racist legacy of federal control over DC now as the tyrannical President abuses his power and sends troops into the city. The people of DC, including the vulnerable and unhoused, are counting on all of you to step up and protect them from these abuses of power and control. FREE DC.
