Oppose S.178 and the excessive reporting of abortion data

To: Sen. Moody, Sen. Scott

From: A constituent in Pensacola, FL

February 4, 2025

The proposed legislation to amend reporting requirements for abortion data raises significant concerns. Mandating extensive reporting risks infringing on patient privacy and further stigmatizing reproductive healthcare. Rather than imposing burdensome regulations, we should focus on ensuring access to comprehensive reproductive services and education. This bill seems misguided and could have unintended negative consequences. I urge you to vote against it and instead prioritize policies that protect reproductive rights and expand access to quality care. Limiting personal medical choices is an overreach of government power and a step backwards for healthcare freedom.
