Stop Trump’s Illegal Election Takeover — Defend Free and Fair Elections Now I am demanding immediate action to stop Donald Trump’s illegal executive order hijacking the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and corrupting our elections. Trump’s Executive Order 14215 unlawfully claims presidential control over the FEC, an independent bipartisan watchdog created by Congress to enforce campaign laws. This move violates the Constitution’s separation of powers, the Elections Clause, and multiple federal laws. It is a blatant power grab intended to rig elections in his favor. Under this illegal order, Trump is: • Forcing the FEC to follow White House political directives. • Imposing unconstitutional “show-your-papers” requirements that would block millions of eligible voters from registering — especially low-income Americans, married women, students, and voters of color. • Stripping voting rights from military and overseas voters by making it almost impossible for them to register. • Forcing decertification of current voting machines in 39 states, threatening chaos and disenfranchisement in the 2026 elections. • Giving Elon Musk’s DOGE operatives access to every state’s voter rolls — exposing millions of Americans’ sensitive personal data to political abuse and manipulation. • Threatening to defund states that refuse to obey these unlawful orders. This is an attempted hostile takeover of America’s election system — designed to silence millions of Americans, weaponize government data for political gain, and shred public trust in our democracy. You must act immediately: • Publicly denounce Executive Order 14215 as unconstitutional. • Join or support lawsuits challenging the order, like Democratic National Committee, et al. v. Donald J. Trump, et al. • Hold emergency hearings to investigate this illegal seizure of election authority. • Block funding for any federal enforcement of this unlawful order. • Protect whistleblowers and cybersecurity officials like Chris Krebs, who are being targeted for telling the truth. Trump’s illegal orders are a direct attack on free and fair elections — the foundation of our Republic. The Constitution does not grant any president the power to control elections.
