Urgent Action Needed: U.S. Contractors Involved in Attacks on Gazans

To: Sen. Budd, Rep. Edwards, Sen. Tillis

From: A constituent in Asheville, NC

July 6, 2025

I’m writing to express my deep outrage and heartbreak over the ongoing violence against Palestinians in Gaza. Recent video footage released by the Associated Press, along with confirmed reports from whistleblowers, provide undeniable proof that U.S. contractors have killed and injured Palestinian civilians—people who were simply waiting in line for humanitarian aid. This is not just tragic. It’s barbaric. And it’s being carried out with our tax dollars and in our name. As a constituent, I demand that you use your power and position to bring an immediate end to this inhumane treatment. We must stop funding and enabling actions that violate human rights and international law. The United States must be a force for peace and accountability, not destruction and impunity. Enough is enough. It is time to stand firmly on the side of humanity and justice. Please act now.
