Emmanuel Dama is the tenth person to die in ICE custody just this year, that the public knows of. Emmanuel Dama was a man who was doing everything right, yet died in custody from a tooth abscess. This is happening in every detention center across the county. Covid and measles are raging. People aren't being provided with medication, or safe food and drinkable water. Children and families are living in filthy, unsanitary cages. We have an administration intentionally depriving people of medical care and then lying about it. This is a catastrophe and a moral failure that will forever be a stain on our country. It's time to demand an end the dehumanization of people based off of what the look like, what language they speak, and what country they come from. It's time to quit putting the profit of government contractors and reality tv style partisan politics over human beings.
