Reject the current budget proposal

You are going to kill my Mom. This terrible bill will massively cut services and you know it and it will affect my Mom. You keep saying we have to cut the debt and reduce the deficit. So here are some ideas for you. 1)    Keep tax cuts for the bottom 80% of the population and eliminate all of the cuts for the top 20% (cuts about $280B/year) from the budget 2)    Eliminate projects that the Pentagon suggested we cut over and above their needs a.     M1 Abrams Tank excess programs (nearly $1B/year) b.     Virginia Class sub programs (nearly $5B/year) c.     Arleigh Burke-class Destroyer program (nearly $5B/year for two ships) d.     E07 Wedgetail program (nearly $3B) e.     F-35 program has way too many planes for way too much each and it doesn’t do the job (nearly $4B/year) f.      Golden Dome is a dumb idea, the project will NOT be done in three years and will likely cost way more than the $175B 3)    Eliminate the carried interest limit (over $1B/year) 4)    Treat stock options granted as compensation as ordinary income 5)    Raise capital gains and qualified dividends tax by 2% ($10B/year) 6)    Reinstate the IRS workforce to focus on tax cheats and enforcement to help recover the $60B-$70B tax gap each year 7)    Hire more investigators for Medicare and Medicaid fraud with specific focus on PROVIDERS to recover $2B-$5B in fraud providers steal from the United States 8) Donut hole approach for Social Security and restarting collections over $400K/year ($7B/year) 9) Applying the Buffet rule ($12B-16B/year) 10) Adjust payments to Medicare Advantage plan to dissuade from over-coding and overcompensation ($12B/year to potentially $100B/year)

In total these items would reduce the budget by nearly $400B-$500B/year. The administration was supposed to be serious about rooting out fraud, but instead cost taxpayers money with its chaotic approach.

In total these items would reduce the budget by nearly $400B/year without touching Medicare, Medicaid, or Social Security or other social programs.
